About Alison Peacham

I’m Alison Peacham, a registered nutritional therapist & health coach specialising in family health and children’s nutrition. My passion is to help families raise healthy, happy, and resilient children.

Lack of energy, stress, anxiety, bloating, indigestion, tummy pains, sleep issues, allergies, low immunity, mood swings, neurodiversity (ADHD) or ‘fussy eater’ children……sound familiar?

As a nutritional therapist I CAN help by working closely with you to create a tailored plan that includes best foods for your child’s body, natural supplements and healthy habits to transform health. I take a holistic approach and, in some cases, it can be beneficial to use laboratory tests to pinpoint specific deficiencies / imbalances to help achieve great results.

Clients tell me changing their own or their child’s diet has been a life-changing experience, that taking back control and making even small changes has made a massive difference. I have also experienced the power of nutrition first-hand and a transformation in my own health. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in my 30’s, I started to seriously investigate food and its links to and effects on health. This experience was a catalyst for a career change from primary education to qualified nutritionist, studying at the world-renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION). After qualifying I held the role of a senior academic at ION for over eleven years. I also ran the Children’s Specialist Clinic at ION, during which time I worked with hundreds of children and their families and spoke at conferences on children’s health.

I currently run 1:1 and group programmes for women and children across the UK, I am a clinical supervisor for undergraduate nutrition students at ION, and I lecture on child health, including the latest research. I have a particular interest in how the state of our gut is central to health.

I had a consultation with Alison recently and she made me feel totally at ease. She has a lovely friendly manner and I felt she really understood my concerns. She has given me a programme which is very easy to follow and I am already starting to feel the benefits. I would definitely recommend Alison as a nutritional therapist because she made the whole process feel very easy and not daunting at all.
