Here’s how it works
For six days you commit to cutting out (or even cutting down) added sugar from your diet. This can feel hard – especially if you have spent years using sugary treats to give you enough energy to get through the day or as a reward for something you achieved. While it’s true, a little of what you fancy does you good, most of us have way too much sweet stuff in our lives.
But don’t worry, cutting out sugar doesn’t have to mean sacrificing flavour or feeling deprived. The challenge focuses on health-giving, delicious swaps, so you never feel hungry or like you’re missing out. There are plenty of delicious and healthy sugar-free options, and you might be surprised at how good you feel without all that added sugar.
Plus, doing a sugar-free challenge as a family can be a great way to bond and support each other. You can share healthy meals and snacks, try new recipes together, and encourage each other to stick to your goals. When you complete the challenge, you’ll feel a sense of achievement and pride in your ability to make healthy choices as a family.
